This is a great old zz top blues album. True it isn't the zz top of Eliminator or Afterburner. While those albums had some great songs, they also had electronic drums and a real 'plastic' sound about them. La Futura was largely ignored but a great album; real drums, real guitars and real roadhouse blues. Dont miss Billy Gibbons whiskey and cigarrette soaked vocals on "Over You".

Not sure what the other posters are talking about. This is ZZ Top going back to their roots. Best album since Tres Hombres

I like the old ZZ. Not diggin this at all. The music is good though.

with rick rubin...producing i thought here we go its gonna be old zz...but no its just not the same....to be honest i gave up after eliminator......but thats when they got so big......just not my taste i prefer early zz top..up to 83.....
