Legendary frontman for Hello Sailor took time out from the band to record his debut solo album. Brazier is a man with a vast musical knowledge and this album represents some of those styles that he likes to perform. Opening with No Mystery, Six Piece Chamber and Seven Seas the album starts of with uptempo rock, reggae and calypso all of which was often evident in the music of the Sailor lads.

The balance of the album contains songs of love, life and some harder times with Juan Pacenta telling us along with a thumping drum that "My father he said to me, boy it's in your family tree. Six generations back, we went of the track" from a man who is no stranger to walking on the wild side.

However the albums climax is a song called Billy Bold that evokes memories of hard times and the offer to sail away to either a new land or a bloody war. Backing musicians from the cream of New Zealands bands form the players while Earl Slick drops in on a couple of songs.

This solo debut is one the best of Graham's long career with good songs and great hooks.
