  What a relief this is. My (along others & John Lennon's) was too dream of recording Presley with a brand new vitality. To take him and present his talents in the raw emotional vein they so long deserved.
  
  Let's be honest with one another. From 1964 until 1969 his music (mainly restricted to half-baked movie soundtracks used to fuel his film contract commitments) was flat-out stale, out of touch, and void of his earlier magic.
  
  As the British Invasion was gathering, Elvis Presley's influence began to wain.
  
  His career badly needed a complete make-over, but with all the sycophants around him - there was no one around or capable of telling the King - "No."
  
  This music represents a 'what if' possibility. These producers have taken Elvis and re-energized him in way's that breathes new life into his music. Hear Elvis for the first time in a new way I'm sure even he would have approved. This album is simply magical and you should not pass up the opportunity to hear it.
