  This is not the Boston we grew up with... After their Walk On album, they have delivered nothing but garbage, and to include a female singer is a complete joke. I still listen to their first 4 albums and don't bother with the rest... and as serious Bostan fans say, no Delp, no Boston. Pitty.

  Different - but nice.
  
  If you are looking for a Vintage Powerhouse BOSTON album - this album is not for you- BUT if you are an open minded person who loves music and enjoys putting the headphones on and listening to a very relaxing - easy listening sound with a Boston sound to it....then you will enjoy this Album.
  
  They have obviously turned the page and are moving on to a somewhat newer sound, that I think is not too bad at all. I am 50 years old - and LOVE Vintage Boston albums - but also think this album is pretty cool. VERY relaxing to listen to.
  
  If you like good Music and Boston and allow yourself to take that approach to it - you will not be disappointed in this album.

  I am a serious fan.....this isn't for the serious fan....this is for the new generation type boston fan. The production is horrid and I found myself having to adjust settings on my top of the line stereo equipment on every song.There is none of the power Boston sound anywhere on this album. Kimberly Dahme does nothing but even bring this band down even lower. Her vocals are annoying and don't belong in anything that is considered Boston material....and she knows this. I have been a fan since 1978 and even the Walk On album is 100 times better than this garbage. 10 years and this is what we get? The Eagles can get away with using different vocalists on their albums........Boston can't. Very sad.

  Since original singer Bradley Delp committed suicide back in 2007, this album has some of his singing, but not much. They have enlisted another singer, David Victor to fill in. This falls short of the usual fare from Boston, but they haven't been the same since Third Stage. Serious fans only.

  I enjoyed the music Boston was playing up to the late 1990's.i enjoyed it so much that I also purchased two live concert DVD which the whole family still enjoys.
  
  I have to ask if this is the original Boston band playing in Life Love and Hope. When I compared Life Love and Hope with Bostons Greatest Hits it was like listening to two different bands. Maybe it's the tempo of the songs chosen.If it is I do hope that their next CD will have music as good as More Than a Feeling.
